 Although your AED will not require much maintenance, it still must be inspected for optimal working condition. This will be performed by Commercial EMS via our on-line Web Advantage Tracking Program.
Your organization's Program Coordinator (and any other authorized personnel) will have on-line informational access via our Web Advantage Program to:
- Track all AED locations, serial numbers, pad and battery expiration dates, and maintenance inspection dates
- Track the names of employees who received initial CPR/AED training, refresher courses and re-certification training dates
- Automatic e-notices will remind the Program Coordinator to do timely maintenance checks (we recommend monthly checks). Commercial EMS will provide an on-line checklist for this use.
- Your in-house Program Coordinator will be the main contact for training, service and maintenance at your organization.
