In order to maintain optimal readiness of your AED(s), it is vital that each AED unit be inspected regularly. As your contracted AED Program Management Service, it is our responsibility to also maintain a record that such inspections are being performed.
On-site inspections will be performed by Commercial EMS on a yearly basis with replacement of batteries and pads as needed and possible software upgrades as indicated by the manufacturer.
In the event your AED is used for a sudden cardiac event, Commercial EMS will extract the event data for medical review, prepare a written medical report and return you defibrillator back to working order by replacing pads and batteries as needed after such use.
